New Features<\/h4>\n

In Q3, Maintenance Assistant released more CMMS workflow improvements to speed up productivity while introducing behind the scenes middleware enhancements to accelerate the transfer of information from the database to the user through the cloud. \u201cWe\u2019re always working hard to bring innovative solutions to our customers\u201d, said Bob Kandic, chief software architect. \u201cWith the global migration to mobile, we introduced QR code functionality, which lets technicians access vital maintenance information with the scan of a QR code using their iPhone, Android or Blackberry. No need for custom hardware; technicians can use the new functionality on consumer smartphones. Work order tasks, vital safety and operational instructions, schematics and technical manuals are now easily accessible right at the technician\u2019s fingertips as they perform the work.\u201d Maintenance Assistant also introduced numerous other enhancements such as drag and drop, auto refresh and advanced filtering. The net result is a faster and more efficient workflow and a better user experience.<\/p>\n

Outlook for Q4<\/h4>\n

Maintenance Assistant CEO Marc Castel anticipates growth to remain solid in the final quarter of 2013. \u201cHistorically, the fourth quarter has been strong for us as maintenance budgets free up towards the end of the year. \u00a0We are also releasing our new purchasing module later this month, and we expect a spike in sign-ups as we roll out this major piece of functionality.\u201d<\/p>\n
